Fresh Sawn Timber

Jacks Lumber specialises in the supply of fresh sawn timber from our own sawmill. 

Beams And Boards

Primarily oak and Douglas fir beams for timber framing and other outdoor projects. We can also produce edged boards to your requirements.

Boules

A boule is a log that has been sliced through to create a stack of boards. These are often edged to leave a finished board or you can keep the bark for a 'live edge' and more rustic look. A boule is often left to dry for years and then is kiln dried to reduce the moisture content. We can supply boules fresh cut for you or source them air dried or kiln dried.

Sleepers and Fencing

We can cut and supply oak sleepers for your landscaping projects, raised flower beds and retaining walls. Oak fencing and gate posts with different post tops such as curved or weathered. Other timber types are no problem too!

Cutting Service

If you have logs which you wish to be processed into timber for your use then we can do that for you. We have a fully hydraulic sawmill that can handle logs up to 1m in diameter and 5m in length. It is possible that we can cut your timber while you wait.

Oak Framed Projects

We can design and create any timber frame project you need with our CAD system and sister company Shire Oak. Specialising in traditional oak framed joinery we can supply buildings from a small oak frame porch to a large family home.
